7 blocks from University of California at Berkeley (Cal) campus (15 minute walk - about 3/4 mile).
6 blocks from Downtown Berkeley BART station (train/subway) and all downtown amenities (restaurants, shops, cinemas, banks, library, buses).
25 minute ride on the BART (train/subway) to Downtown San Francisco.
4 blocks from large grocery store (supermarket).
Close to everything, but a very quiet residential neighborhood (parks nearby).
Very easy access to highway I-80.
10 minute drive to downtown Oakland or Emeryville.
One block to Berkeley´s Bike network.

University of California-Berkeley (UC Berkeley - Cal) Related Transportation Options

The LBL (Lawrence Berkeley Labs) (also called Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) shuttle also goes by the BART station, so with a 6 block walk, you can also catch the LBL shuttle if you affiliated with LBL: [LBL Shuttles]

House is 3 blocks away from University Ave where lots of buses go by - most buses on University Ave are operated by AC Transit
Most buses in Berkeley go through downtown Berkeley, and the house is about 6 blocks from downtown (where the Berkeley BART station is located)
House is about 1.5 miles from the Berkeley Amtrak train station - trains from here go to Sacramento and San Jose as well as offering services to the rest of California and the nation
