To let you know my situation, I am currently working on an Oracle E-Business Suite 11i CRM project.
STATUS SUMMARY
- Primary expertise: business analyst/functional consultant in Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle Applications R12 and 11i) products such as Service Contracts, Install Base, Order Management, Service/TeleService, iSupport, Customers Online, and TCA
- Availability: maybe available for a new project in early-December 2011
- Only consulting (I don't consider permanent positions)
- Only work in the San Francisco bay area (although some short-term travel is sometimes possible)
- FYI, for clients south of Foster City or south of Fremont, I am only available to work on site 3 days a week

I am an Oracle Applications/E-Business Suite (CRM/ERP/Distribution/Financial/Manufacturing) Functional Lead / Techno Functional Consultant / Business Analyst / Architect / Technical Lead / Software Engineer. I consider positions that fit the following:
* WORK
- Oracle Applications (Oracle E-Business Suite) and/or Oracle work
- In the most recent years, I have worked primarily in a functional capacity (mostly about 80% functional, and 20% technical); in earlier years of my career, I worked more in a technical capacity (also sometimes 100% technical), so I can work 100% functionally, 100% technically, or anywhere in between
* LOCATION
- not willing to relocate
- on-site work and/or telecommuting
- I live in the San Francisco bay area (California), so I prefer positions in this area including: San Francisco and East Bay (e.g., Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville); I also sometimes consider positions in the South Bay/Silicon Valley/Peninsula area (e.g., San Jose, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Mountain View, Palo Alto)
- FYI, for clients south of Foster City or south of Fremont, I am only available to work on site 3 days a week
- occasionally, I do consider projects outside of the San Francisco bay area
- for any travel outside the San Francisco bay, California area, travel expenses can be paid separately or I can load them into my rate
- I can travel up to 15% of the time if the rest of the time I am working in the San Francisco bay area or telecommuting
* PAY RATE
- only consulting opportunities (no contract-to-hire or permanent/direct position)
- work on a hourly corp-to-corp basis (similar to 1099 - have liability insurance) or hourly W-2
- I am a US citizen
* TIME
- part-time or full-time
- maybe available to start a new consulting position in early-December 2011
